She called in TLC Leather Care, we removed as much ink as possible but the only way that we could possibly do to remove the ink completely was to re-colour the ink stain to blend in with the rest of the handbag. Not an ideal solution but a lot cheaper than replacing the handbag. It apparently happened when one of the players from a visiting team (who didn’t like losing) decided to put his foot through the tunnel wall. TLC Leather Care were called in to make a temporary repair before the next home game. As you can see the end result was very acceptable. As shown in the before and after pictures there is a remarkable difference. The jacket was thoroughly cleaned then re-dyed to black with a coat of leather protect over the top, and finished with stain guard and water proofer applied for added protection. The customer was amazed with the finished results. Before After Before After Before After Before After re-colour_leather A nasty accident happened when this customer cleaned her settee with leather wipes. The problem was that the colour on the arms had worn so much that eventually the top colour started to come off. TLC restored it back to its original condition by re-colouring the arm and re- applying the leather protector. This type of damage can be avoided by using cleaning products recommended for a particular leather and applying a good quality leather conditioner/protector on a regular basis. The customer was thrilled with the finished results.
